The transport of fissile materials from and to Antwerp Port via the Western Scheldt (so-called: Belgium sailors) is subject to notification under Article 13 of the Bvser, if a licence has been issued for the transport by the competent Belgian authorities. The transport must be reported 3 weeks in advance.
How do I submit a notification?
- Go to the ANVS portal
- Log in with E-herkenning
- Select 'Notifications and announcements
- Select 'Notifications'
- Select 'Notification of other transport'
- Complete the online notification form in full and send it
You will receive an email confirmation of receipt from the ANVS. After receipt, your notification will be assessed; if necessary, the ANVS will contact you.
