If you have a transport licence, you may be required to announce the transport to the ANVS beforehand in certain cases. You must submit the announcement 48 hours before the actual transport via the ANVS online portal. We also require confirmation of the materials’ safe arrival. You are responsible for informing the other organisations specified in your licence yourself.
Making a transport announcement
- Go to the ANVS online portal.
- Log in with eHerkenning.
- Click on ‘Notifications and announcements’.
- Click on ‘Transport announcement’.
- Complete the form in full.
- Submit the completed form.
- You will receive a confirmation email from us. This email contains a registration number. Quote this registration number in future correspondence.
Multiple announcements
You can only make one announcement at a time.
Assessment
The ANVS will assess your announcement. We will let you know if any further information is needed.
Announcing an arrival confirmation, change or cancellation
Need to confirm the transported materials’ arrival? Want to announce a change in plans? Or is the transport being cancelled altogether? Notify us as soon as possible via the ANVS online portal. Follow the same procedure described under 'Making a transport announcement'.
