The ANVS together with 5 other European regulators has performed an assessment of the preliminary design of the small nuclear reactor NUWARD. NUWARD is a 'small modular reactor' (SMR) designed by the French company EDF. This report describes the results of the 2nd phase of this Joint Early Review (JER).
