The Guideline for the safe design and operation of nuclear installations, in Dutch the ‘Handreiking Veilig Ontwerp en Bedrijfsvoering van Kerninstallaties’ (VOBK), describes the ANVS review criteria for the assessment of nuclear safety for all nuclear installations. It is based on the latest developments in nuclear safety, for which the IAEA Safety Standards are considered to be leading.
This Guideline replaces the 2023 version of the Handreiking VOBK and Dutch Safety Requirements.
