The Authority for Nuclear Safety and Radiation Protection has again designated TÜV Rheinland Industrie Service GmbH as the inspection body for nuclear pressure equipment. The company approves the design and manufacture of nuclear pressure equipment.

Inspection body for a 5-year period

TÜV Rheinland submitted an application on 14 March 2025 to be designated as an inspection body. On 17 July 2025, we made the decision to designate TÜV Rheinland as the inspection body for nuclear pressure equipment. This designation takes effect immediately and is valid for 5 years. Objection deadline 28 August 2025

If you are an interested party, you can file an objection to our decision until midnight on 28 August 2025. If you wish to object, you must do so in writing and include:

  • The date
  • Your name
  • Your address
  • A substantiation of your objection
  • Your signature

Send your notice of objection to: Authority for Nuclear Safety and Radiation Protection, stating ‘Objection TÜV Rheinland’ as the subject, PO box 16001, 2500 BA The Hague.

Provisional ruling

If your objection is urgent, you can also request preliminary relief. This course of action ensures that a decision is not implemented until the Administrative Jurisdiction Division has assessed your request and issued a decision. You may apply for preliminary relief after submitting your objection. You can do so through the digital service desk of the Council of State (in Dutch), using DigiD to log on.
