Rol van de ANVS
The Authority for Nuclear Safety and Radiation Protection (ANVS) ensures compliance with the highest standards of nuclear safety and radiation protection in the Netherlands. To fulfil this duty, the ANVS defines rules, issues licences, carries out inspections and takes enforcement action if necessary.
Purpose of the licence
Quality Inspection Services is engaged in industrial radiography. With industrial radiography, the company is able to inspect the quality of objects without damaging them. This takes place, for example, with pipelines and welded joints. Quality Inspection Services has applied for a licence to expand the number of radiation sources they use for this purpose. The activities take place at the Quality Inspection Services site at Kuisel 11 in Roosendaal and at various locations throughout the Netherlands.
See the draft licence and accompanying documents for more information.
