Report on events in Dutch nuclear facilities during 2018

In 2018, Dutch nuclear facilities gave notification of 14 events that are subject to a notification requirement and which were related to a disruption in the safe operation of the facility. These concerned technical defects at the facilities or operator error. Nuclear safety was not compromised during any of the events which occurred in 2018. Therefore, none of these events has been rated at INES 1 or higher.
