Notification of transport

Requirements for a notification of transport

  • You must submit a notification of transport of radioactive substances no later than 3 weeks before the actual transport
  • A notification relates to 1 transport (1 shipment)
  • You must report all changes to the initial notification to the ANVS no later than 3 days before the transport
  • If you have not received further notice from the ANVS within 3 weeks, the transport may take place

How do I submit a notification of transport?

  • Go to the ANVS portal. Read more about the ANVS portal and eHerkenning in the questions and answers (in Dutch)
  • Log in with E-herkenning
  • Select 'notifications and reports'
  • Select 'notifications'
  • Select (annual) transport notification
  • Complete the online notification form in full and send it
Submit a transport notification

Registration number

You will receive an email confirmation of receipt from the ANVS with a registration number. You will need this number for further communication with the ANVS. Your notification will be assessed after receipt. If you do not receive a response within three weeks, your transport can take place.

Any changes to the notification must be reported no later than three working days before the transport takes place via postbus.transportmelding@anvs.nl, stating your registration number.
